Representing The Business Community For More Than 100 Years

The present Chamber of Commerce started in 1967 and today is an integral component of the business community.The Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce continues to represent the interests of businesses and residents by maintaining relationships with the three levels of government, Alberta Chamber of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce recognizes the accomplishments of the past and continually strives for excellence. The Chamber looks to the future with enthusiasm and confidence, while embarking upon the challenging years ahead.

The Fairview and District Chamber of Commerce strives towards a united and actively involved business community through promotion & communication to ensure the continued growth of our community.

The Fairview & District Chamber of Commerce, as it is known today, was originally called the Fairview Athletics Society and was established in the 1930's by a group of businessmen, women and community residences. In these early years, the group was a vital component of the community, which resulted in the building of sports facilities and an airport in our region. In later years, the group became registered as the Fairview Board of Trade at which time small businesses were recognized by the community.
